“ The tortillas in particular are incredible and the lady working was very nice and friendly. Good vibes ”
“ AMAZING!!!! If you happen to stumble upon this taco spot you have to stop by! My boyfriend and I drove from California and were craving authentic Mexican food. For Alabama, our expectations were low but, we were incredibly impressed. Great service, great food. 10/10. My boyfriend got the carne asada tacos and I got the birria. Both options are great. Thank you Taco Mariachi for a great experience! ”
“ Authentic. Fresh. Friendly. Speedy. He was also interested in our experience and enjoyment. Had locals in line who also spoke highly. ”
“ Great little taco truck! And I'm so grateful for being introduced to campechano: a mix of asada and chorizo! I've eaten at several taco trucks, and I've never seen that option. It was the best of the three tacos I ordered at Taco Mariachi (also ordered pastor and asada). The pastor was very tasty, too. My friends ordered burritos, and those looked tasty and ample. Service was friendly and pretty quick. Be careful: the red salsa is very hot; a little goes a long way. ”
“ Very delicious tacos! Juicy marinated pork tacos and tasty quesadillas. I'll definitely make this one of my to go taco spots especially since it's so close. ”
“ First time here.. Very good authentic tacos and hot sauce. Loved the Al Pastor and Asada. Food truck serving good Mexican food . ”
“ These are some of the BEST tacos in town! Hands down! But they don't only offer tacos, they have; tortas, sopes, quesadillas, everything can also be vegetarian if you ask. Miguel is the man behind the grill and he knows exactly what he's doing, you wont be disappointed. ”
“ A fellow Yelper (Will B. ) was instrumental in me giving this food truck a try. His review was spot on!! I never crave authentic tacos. NEVER! This food truck delivered on some very flavorful tacos that really hit the spot for me! I only ordered two tacos . Steak (asada) and mix chorizo / steak ( campechano) . Both tacos were extremely fresh and were complemented nicely with a red sauce. Green sauce was an option as well. Taco Mariachi offers tacos , tortas , quesadillas and burritos. I can't wait to try more menu items. The service was pretty fast and friendly. ”
“ It finally happened. I have hoped and hoped. Furiously biting my nails in anticipation. They are popping up all over Birmingham. Why can't one come close to me?!? And by that I mean, I finally have a taco truck within a few minutes of my house. My answered prayer came in the form of Taco Mariachi. As with all great taco spots, you now you are getting something delicious for not a whole lot of money. I was hoping when my personal dream came to fruition, I wouldn't be disappointed. And I was not. I got three tacos in chorizo, lengue, and chorizo/asada. They were fantastic. Gave us plenty of sauce and limes to boost that flavor even more. We got the kids a torta. The bread was so soft and good. They do put a hot sauce on it that was a bit much for the kids. But it was easy to scrape off and I will know to ask next time to hold off. Overall, I am pumped about this!! Great tacos are now super close to me. This could be dangerous! ”
“ Wonderful to have an excellent taco truck on the East side of Bham. Totally legit. I had a one asada and two pastor tacos. $2.50 each. Mariachi style is 50 cents more and adds avocado, tomato and cheese. Great side sauces. Mexican Cokes..$2. All delicious. I overheard tamales are available on Saturdays. Mmmm. ”
